Posted November 22, 2016. 8 weeks ago I bought a 10 month old fiesta with 9500 miles on from main Ford dealer. Because it only had 8 weeks to go until it needed a service I told them I thought it was a bit The theory is when you pull up to a stop with the car in neutral, the engine should shut down until the clutch is depressed again to restart. There is a little indicator that comes on the dash that shows it is ready but it never activates. From what I read, it's likely a low battery that causes this but the car has no symptoms of a low battery Ford. Issue: Some 2018-2020 EcoSport vehicles equipped with a 1.0L EcoBoost engine may exhibit a reoccurring illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P04DB. This may be due to the software in the powertrain control module (PCM). To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the PCM. I found a lot of posts about failures on early models but it looks like all of them were related to a single issue where a coolant hose was cracking a dumping all of the coolant and causing the engine to overheat. Ford has since fixed this on all 1.0's built in 2013 or later. Beyond that it actually looks like the engine is pretty reliable. Eng_Ahmad1986. 449. Name: Ahmad.
