Hyundai i30 - Breaking issue . Hello So, about 2 months ago I started hearing a whirring noise coming from the breaks. So took it into the garage and they said it needed new front pads and discs.. so got them done but then the breaks started making an intermittent crunching/grinding noise when coming to a stop.

Beware - brand new car comes with only 1 smart key. We were surprised on delivery day of our new Hyundai i10 Connect car that it only came with one Smart key and one manual key, instead of two smart keys. After complaining to the salesman that we required two workable keys, as two people were to drive the car, we were advised that Hyundai only

The range is impressive 240 in winter and 300 during summer - and it achieves those figures too, driving in a normal manner. It’s not super plush inside but has all the toys I need. It drives well but feels heavy at times, but not overly so.
As a general guide, all-season tyres will be more expensive than standard (i.e. not high performance) summer tyres, roughly about 10-20% more for the most common (often cheapest) tyres size combinations like 195/65R15 or 205/55R16, but for less common size combos, they can be near to 30-40% more expensive.
Hyundai i30 - tyre pressure electronic sensors - grumpy john. Over the last few months I have had worn tyres changed and then sometime after discovered what I thought was a slow puncture. I visited a well known chain of tyre fitting centres who discovered that the tyre sensor itself was leaking. the outer sleeve to the valve core has a rubber
Kona electric is marvelous, fast, frugal, fully featured. I have had ICE vehicles all my life, diesels, petrol & LPG, from Ford escorts to Seat Exeo and from Kia Soul to Soda Fabia vRS. I was worried about my Kona being slow, it isn't and will go 0-60 in under 8 secs. I was worried I would run out of charge, well taking it easy in summer I get
The engine is a dream, very sporty and completely silent at tick-over, an incredible difference in noise levels compared to my previous diesels. The car is generally very refined, although, compared to my previous Ford Focuses, I found the ride a bit "unsettled" at first, on bad roads.

Asked on 11 June 2015 by Hyundai owner. Answered by Honest John. I agree. If glowplugs have been in the head for a number of years their threads can corrode and fuse into the metal of the cylinder head. But if they have been replaced as recently as a year ago there should be no problem unless, as is suggested, they have somehow been cross-threaded.
My daughter’s 2009 Hyundai i30 developed a gearbox noise, which she reported at the main dealer 12 months ago. At the time the mechanic told her it was nothing and to ignore it. I drove the car today and in 20 yards told her that the clicking noise sounded like a bearing breaking up, probably on the first motion shaft in that it is input speed and goes when the clutch is depressed. The
Refinement is very good and the controls are light, making the i30 easy to drive on all kinds of roads. It’s especially good as a motorway cruiser and makes long journeys very relaxed. As a family car it’s extremely hard to fault the i30 Tourer. It’s practical, comfortable, well-made, affordable and easy to drive.
